Selecting a Strong Password

  • Do not have consecutive-count numbers or letters (e.g., 1234 or ABCD)
  • Contain no words from any dictionary, including slang and dialect, etc.
  • Are not based on personal information or names of family members, etc.
  • Are not to be written down or stored online
  • Should be easily remembered
    • Example: Create a password based on a song title or phrase, such as "This May Be One Way to Remember" and the password could be "TmB1w2R!" or "Tmb1W>r."
